Vets,
ReplyDeleteBe very careful when registering for any 8 week course. Even though you might be considered full time for the semester, the VA goes by the day. So, if you take an 8 week course, then when it is done, you are thereafter deemed to be less than full time. This will stop your benefits. Take only 16 week courses if at all possible. Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't learn the hard way.
Thank you for a good reminder. This is an important aspect of the GI Bill at City. If you're not sure how 8-week courses affect your benefits, check in with the VA office so you don't lose full-time status when the short-term class ends. Our VA office is in room A-109, and the phone number is 619-388-3504.
